1. Ubuntu 12.04? EVE sez no - in Linux [original thread]
Okay, I'm going to pronounce this SOLVED. My fps seems to only tank when new models are being loaded - the first asteroid belt I saw killed it, the first stargate, the first ships other than the starter, et cetera. After the first time it's fine. ...

2. Launcher Update Trap - in Linux [original thread]
I haven't found any information on fixing the error online. Also, I'm operating through Wine, and I have the correct version of python on my Linux OS. sudo commands wouldn't have any bearing on my missing .dlls as far as I can understand. Also, I ...

3. Launcher Update Trap - in Linux [original thread]
So, since I started playing EVE, I've had trouble resolving the issue of updating automatically. I always get a message saying my pythondll library was missing, because I don't have python27.dll. I had to download every update manually in order to...

7. I am Starting A petition For Eve To make a LINUX Client! - in Linux [original thread]
I agree on the WINE testing end of things. A Linux native client is far more work for them than simply testing their product with WINE. It is far too much to ask and it is not profitable for CCP to rewrite all graphics code. An easier path to runn...
